ASERICO
SPANISH IN 5 STEPS
.
A practical route for English speakers to make Spanish part of everyday life.
1 SET A CLEAR GOAL
Know where you want your Spanish to take you.
Choose a realistic target level and a reason for learning: travel, work, family, culture or an official qualification. A concrete goal gives your study direction and makes progress visible.

3 LIVE PART OF YOUR DAY IN SPANISH.
Turn authentic Spanish into a daily habit.
Watch, listen and read material made in Spain. Start with short sessions and use subtitles when they help. News, documentaries, radio, interviews and cultural programmes expose you to natural vocabulary, pronunciation and everyday re ferences. RTVE and Instituto Cervantes collaborate to promote Spanish language and culture, and RTVE Play provides access to TV content.

4 SPEAK AND PRACTISE REAL SPANISH
Move from understanding to communication.
Use the words and expressions you meet in authentic content. Speak regularly with Spanish speakers, language partners, tutors or local conversation groups. Re-tell a news story, describe what you watched, record a short voice note, and notice the gaps you want to improve next.

5 PROVE YOUR LEVEL AND KEEP USING IT
Turn learning into something useful.
When you are ready, benchmark your level with official or recognised assessment. Prepare for the format you choose, then keep Spanish active through media, reading, travel, professional situations and regular conversation. The aim is not to “finish” Spanish, but to make it a language you genuinely use.
